Learned this trip that rock bass isn't actually a species of bass and is actually a type of sunfish!
Water was crystal clear and there were a few guys snorkeling and told us where to cast for the suckers and small mouths but may have scared them away by trying to grab them hehehe...
We went fishing with my niece and 2 nephews at the mouth of Lake Huron into St Clair river
Sarah caught a rock bass too!
